Hello NSW

May 5, 2013

Last week Murray and I flew up to the Central Coast of New South Wales to deliver a series of presentations to four schools in Lake Munmorah. We were greeted with warm weather, sunshine, 130 enthusiastic teachers and principals, delicious food, and a jellyfish (but that’s another story).

The presentation series ran over a day and covered a range of key issues identified by the schools as most relevant for them and their school populations. We covered how to identify, manage and reduce anxiety and anger in their students, how to build resilience in the classroom, and how to identify and best work with students with learning difficulties. That evening Murray spoke to the schools’ parents on anxiety and depression in children.

Please contact us to dicsuss your school’s professional development needs or view the types of workshops we offer.
